Lisa celebrated her 1yr anniversary @ ADC on 6/5/09. We are very lucky to have Lisa as our clinical co-ordinator as she has been in the dental industry for more than 13 years. Lisa assists both Christopher & Val in providing optimum dental care to all of our patients. She also manages the infection control and stock levels within the practice. Since completing her DAA diploma she has worked in variety of dental practices throughout WA and also the world. From general practice in Kalgoorlie, Norseman & West Perth to Specialist practices in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, London’s Oxford Circus and also Paris’ Champs Ellysses. Fortunately for us, Lisa decided to return to her home town of Perth and accept a position at Absolute. “I really like the happy patients and happy work colleagues” Lisa replied, when quizzed on the best thing about working at ADC. Indeed, Lisa is always happy and smiling herself and can often be heard whistling away as she works!…
|| Renovations As you may know, the construction of the hotel next door caused some structural damage to our building, both internally and externally. We are very happy to announce that the internal repairs and renovations are now complete. We also had a garden makeover with new paving and plants. A variety of grass type plants were introduced and we’re glad to say that all the plants are thriving and look great. Our next project involves starting the external repairs…we’ll keep you posted.
|| Parking There are so many more cars on the road now and as a result parking in West Perth has become a challenge! Please note that there is convenient parking in our street as well as the surrounding streets; Richardson, Ord and Colin. All of these bays require you to purchase a ticket (currently $1.90 per hour) and display this on your dashboard. The machines are well-located on both sides of the streets and for your convenience, accept $2, $1, 50c, 20c & 10c coins. Please remember to bring some change with you and allow some extra time to find a bay. This means that with a short stroll, you can arrive on time and a lot less stressed!! Alternatively, you can ride on the Red Cat bus for free.
During work hours, these buses conveniently run every 5 minutes and
Stop No. 24 is directly outside our front door. Our patients use this
service and find it a much less stressful option (& it’s free)!
